CRISIL CERTIFIED ANALYST PROGRAMME 2012-2014:
CCAP is a two-year intensive entry-level programme that combines coursework, job assignments, and interactive seminars to equip the learner with exceptional financial and business skills. The programme is aimed at developing world-class financial professionals for analyst roles in CRISIL.
The programme focuses on teaching and grooming participants into the best finance professionals, while assuring a successful career.
» CCAP Eligibility Criteria
The minimum requirement for admission to the programme is:
- A bachelor's degree with at least 60 per cent marks or the equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA). This should be an aggregate score for the course. Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent examination may also apply.
- The candidate must have taken the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management) or Xavier's Admission Test (XAT) conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, held in 2011-12. Candidates meeting the minimum cut-off will be called directly for the GD & PI round, else they have to appear for the CRISIL Aptitude Test. If the candidate has not appeared for any of these exams, he/she will also be required to appear for the CRISIL Aptitude Test.
- The candidate should have been born on or after January 1, 1985.
Note:
Candidates who are in the final year of graduation will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, if they submit a certificate latest by August 30, 2012, from the Principal/Registrar of their College/Institute stating that they have met the requirement (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification. Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit their mark sheet and a certificate of having passed their bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification with at least 60 per cent marks. The deadline for submission of mark sheets and certificate is December 31, 2012. Non-fulfillment of this condition will result in automatic cancellation of the provisional admission.
» Selection Process
Applicants will be shortlisted based on the above eligibility criteria. Shortlisted applicants have to go through the below mentioned selection stages:
- CCAP Aptitude Test
Candidates who have not appeared for CAT/XAT held during 2011-12 will have to appear for CRISIL's aptitude test conducted in 18 locations across the country. It will have 5 sections: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Essay Writing, The test may be conducted on June 02 and June 09, 2012. Candidates will be informed of the centre, date and time for the test when they complete the application process.

- Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI):
CRISIL will decide the section-wise and total cut-off marks, which will be used in short-listing candidates for GD and PI. The final round of GD and PI will be held in Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai. Final selections will be based on the candidate's profile, performance in the qualifying examination, GD and PI rounds.
The selected candidates will be informed by e-mail and the results would also be displayed on the website. The selected candidates will need to confirm their admission before a specified date, failing which their admissions will be cancelled. Candidates in their final year of graduation are required to send their original mark sheets for Standards 10 or 12. Graduates are required to send their original graduation mark sheets immediately on receipt of the admission offer Letter.
Please note that the other original certificates need to be produced for verification on the inaugural day of the programme, failing which the admission will be cancelled.
» Batch Size
The batch of 2012-14 will have a maximum of 60 participants.
» Fee
CRISIL does not charge any fee for the programme, other than the non-refundable application fee of Rs1500.
» Programme Location & Start Date
The programme will be conducted entirely in Mumbai. Admitted candidates have to make their own arrangements for accommodation, and local conveyance in Mumbai.
Admitted candidates will be directed to report by 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 01, 2012 at the venue specified in the admission offer letter.
» Medical test and references
All admitted candidates may be asked to produce a medical report certifying physical fitness before they join the programme. Candidates will be informed of the specifications of the tests once the selection process is complete. Candidates who are offered final admission may also have to provide two references, either professional or academic.
