Methodology
 
The risk score is computed after identifying the influence of specific parameters that are peculiar to an industry and affect its performance, and by aggregating the scores assigned to the relevant parameters such as:
Demand-supply outlook
Government policies
Cost structures
Extent of competition
Financial performance
Global competitiveness
Cyclicality/Seasonality
Importance to the economy

Industry Risk Scores are reviewed and updated either on a half-yearly basis or whenever new developments take place (whichever is earlier).
