What is CORRDEX?

 

CORRDEX is an index reflecting the fluctuation in the costs for corrugated box manufacturing such as raw materials, finance, selling and administration, etc.

 

Who has launched it?

 

Indian Corrugated Case Manufacturers Association (ICCMA), a national association in the corrugated paper packaging industry representing Automatic Board Plants, has launched the index in collaboration with CRISIL Research as an independent evaluator.

 

What is the objective of the Index?

 

The Index will assist corrugated box manufacturers, Brand Owners, End-Clients & other Stakeholders across the country to monitor the price trends in all inputs related to manufacturing of boxes and accordingly make key economic decisions.

 

Background of ICCMA

 

Indian Corrugated Case Manufacturers’ Association was set up in year 2009 and is an apex body of the Indian Corrugation Industry representing Automatic Board Plants. The association has 186 members across India, with total installed capacity of 40% of the Box Industry. ICCMA has four zones and is headquartered in Mumbai.
