Given an employee base of 95,000, it is a bankable location for real estate developers to launch mid-segment housing projects pricing it much below those in central areas of the city. It also has necessary social infrastructure such as schools, hospitals and colleges (Indian Statistical Institute). Further, the Bangalore International Airport is just 45 minutes away.
