Detailed Rationale

Due to inadequate information, CRISIL, in line with the Securities and Exchange Board of India guidelines, had migrated its rating on the long term bank facilities of Annalakshmi Catering Services Private Limited (ACSPL) to 'CRISIL B/Stable Issuer Not Cooperating'. However, the management has subsequently started sharing information necessary for carrying out a comprehensive review of the ratings. Consequently, CRISIL is migrating its rating on the company's facilities to 'CRISIL B/Stable' from 'CRISIL B/Stable Issuer Not Cooperating'.

The rating reflects presence of ACSPL in a highly fragmented industry, with modest size and below average financial risk profile. These weaknesses are partially offset by extensive experience of the promoters in the catering industry.

Key Rating Drivers & Detailed Description
Weaknesses:
* Presence in a highly fragmented industry with limited size: Scale of operations remain modest with revenues estimated at Rs.32 crores for fiscal 2020.The catering industry is highly fragmented and competitive, with a large number of unorganised players in the market; this limits pricing flexibility and bargaining power. Small initial investment and low complexity of operations have resulted in the existence of innumerable entities, much smaller in size, leading to significant fragmentation.

* Below financial risk profile: Financial risk profile is below average, marked by modest networth and high gearing. However, this is offset by moderate debt protection metrics. Although company's networth and gearing stood at Rs.9 crores and 4.79 times respectively as on March 31, 2020; interest coverage and net cash accrual to total debt (NCATD) is comfortable at 2.14 times and 0.09 times as estimated on March 31, 2020.

Strengths:
* Extensive experience of promoters: The company benefits from the two-decade-long experience of the promoters in catering business. Over the years, ACSPL has established longstanding relationships with customers and suppliers.
Liquidity Poor

The sanctioned working capital limits of Rs.1.9 crores are utilised at around 90% over the past 12 months. Cash accruals are expected to be at around 2.5 - 3 crores over the medium term which would be insufficient to meet the upcoming debt obligations of about Rs.3.3 crore per annum over the medium term. However unsecured loan from promoters and cushion in the working capital limits is expected to support the repayment of the term debt obligation.

Outlook: Stable

CRISIL believes ACSPL will continue to benefit from the extensive experience of its promoters in the catering industry

Rating Sensitivity factors
Upward factors:
* Significant increase in revenues and/or profitability resulting in accruals of over Rs.4 crores
* Improvement in the financial risk profile

Downward factors:
* Decrease in revenues and/or profitability to less than 15% resulting in decline in accruals
* Significant increase in working capital requirements and/or debt funded capex resulting in deterioration in the financial risk profile.
About the Company
