Detailed Rationale

CRISIL has withdrawn its short-term rating on the Rs 100 crore commercial paper programme of Future Consumer Limited (FCL). The withdrawal is based on client's request and is in line with CRISIL's policy on withdrawal of ratings; currently, there is no outstanding against this commercial paper.

Analytical Approach

For arriving at its rating, CRISIL has combined the business and financial risk profiles of FCL and its subsidiaries. CRISIL has moderately combined FCL's joint ventures to the extent of support required by the entities over the medium term. This is in line with CRISIL's criteria of consolidation.

CRISIL has applied its group notch-up framework to factor in the strong support from the Future group.
