Course Content

Day 1:

Session 1

Understanding the types of data

• Getting acquainted with different types of data.
• Looking at ways to save information in Python. 
  

Participants will be able to run basic python scripts and understand how to store data in python

Day 2:

Session 2

Iterations and conditions 

• Ways to add conditions (if and while) to data.
• And understanding how to do tasks repeatedly. 
  

Functions 

• How to modularize the data for efficient programming 

Participant will be able to optimally use python to do a certain task multiple times. Understand best practices and faster executions.

Day 3

Session 3

Dataframe and Data Manipulations

• Doing all of the excel operations in Python

Participant will be able to read external data, clean the data, and apply excel like operations, ex. pivots, vlookup, split, concatenate, etc.
