Investment Connect: Beyond Budget 2022

Summary

The emerging landscape for investments

The Union budget for next fiscal is out, and the big bet seems to be on an investment push to India's economic growth over the medium to long term.

For the near-term, however, the risks look tilted to the downside.

There is uncertainty about global growth, and international commodity prices, especially crude, remains stubbornly high, while critical raw materials such as semiconductors continue to be in short supply.

The government is also betting big on digitisation of currency, and increasing digitalisation of transactions. These steps, including the planned launch of India's own virtual currency, are expected to further the cause of financialisation of savings.

To provide more perspectives on the budget and its implications, especially from an investor’s perspective, CRISIL is pleased to invite you to its 'Investment Connect' webinar, where its experts will discuss outlooks on the economy, industry sectors and the capital market.:

We look forward to virtually meeting and interacting with you.
