• In 2024, we have increased procurement of green energy for our offices, expanding the number to 3 offices as
compared to 1 in 2023. This contributed to a significant 64% reduction in our Scope 1 & 2 carbon emission in 2024
over 2019
• Our Scope 3 emissions account for 86% of total emissions. In 2024, Crisil requested emissions data from suppliers
that form top 75% of suppliers in value terms. We continued to sensitise and encourage the supply chain to monitor
and disclose the carbon footprint of their operations. In 2024, we introduced few experts to our supply chain to
support them in reporting their emissions
• In two of Crisil’s key locations, electric vehicles (EVs) were introduced for airport transfer and ad hoc business travel.
This marks a pioneering step towards responsible business travel and reducing Scope 3 emissions
• Travel MIS shared with business teams for emissions tracking
